Calibre was founded in 2005 as a close corporation with the mission of being a construction and consulting engineering firm small enough to ensure personal involvement from its directors and associates. This personal involvement extends not only to all its projects but also to maintaining direct personal contact with its clients.
The company’s competitive edge is based on quality, capacity, and service delivery throughout the entire project life cycle. Costs do not play a major role, as they are set by ECSA, CESA (formerly SAACE), and others.
Calibre Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd is 100% South African, PDI (Previously Disadvantaged Individuals), Black-owned, and controlled, holding an accredited Level 1 BBBEE contributor status. We believe in meaningful participation by Black people in the country’s economy, in line with South African demographics, while also acknowledging the technical strengths of other racial groups.
Calibre has been actively involved in numerous initiatives aimed at assisting those who are less fortunate. We are passionate about uplifting previously disadvantaged individuals and improving their quality of life. We aim to achieve this by appointing local labourers to enhance our positive impact on communities. The company has also been involved in various human resource development and structured training initiatives.
