Manqoba possesses a comprehensive professional background as a certified Project Management Professional and a registered Professional Engineering Technologist under the Engineering Profession Act, 2000 (Act No. 46 of 2000).

With a career spanning over two decades, he has been actively engaged in the planning and oversight of diverse multi-disciplinary engineering projects within South Africa.

Over the course of his career, Manqoba has garnered extensive experience through employment at esteemed engineering firms in South Africa, including SAPPI, PLP Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd, and Eskom. His project portfolio encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from shopping centers, the healthcare sector, a variety of commercial developments, township electrification, and substations, public lighting, industrial plants, pump stations, public buildings, wastewater, and water treatment facilities.

Manqoba’s professional journey also led him to a secondment at Eskom, the national energy utility of the country, where he successfully managed a multi-billion-rand portfolio. This experience equipped him with invaluable insights into the strategic planning, design, land development, research, and execution of High Voltage Transmission Schemes.

Currently, Manqoba serves as the Sole Owner and Mandated Principal of Calibre Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd.

In addition to his rich professional background, Manqoba is currently pursuing a PhD with UCAM Catholic University of Murcia, further enhancing his expertise and contributing to the academic advancement of his field. This commitment to ongoing education underscores his dedication to staying at the forefront of knowledge and innovation in engineering and project management.
